Christians in Banke and Bardiya area in mid-west Nepal organized a one-day seminar on the Constituent Assembly and the Participation of Christians in Nepalgunj on 27 July 2007.

NCCN General Secretary Dr. K.B. Rokaya was invited as one of the resource person in the seminar which was participated by around 25 key Church leaders from the area. After the conclusion of the seminar Dr. K. B. Rokaya and Mr. RC Acharya, NCCN public relations officer, made a presentation about vision, objectives and activities of NCCN and held extensive discussion among the Church leaders. Following the discussion the Church leaders pledged whole hearted support to the work of NCCN and formed a committee under the convenership of Ps. Dhan Bahadur Pandey for organizing a Pastors and Church Leaders conference in Nepalgunj for the mid-western region  in the the first week of October 2007. The conference is expected to form the mid-west regional Christian Council. We would value your prayer for this programme.
